How does your donation count?

Here is a chance to support a charity that is making a real difference in the lives of people experiencing huge disadvantage in the community.

Funds raised through donations go directly to support the Sydney Street Choir. The Choir is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission and is audited every year to ensure that all donations are used to enhance the lives of its members.

The Board of Directors of the Sydney Street Choir Foundation are not paid, giving their time and expertise voluntarily. Our staff members, Choir Director James Paul, Conductor (Dillwynia Women's Prison Choir) Rachel Harding and Social Welfare Worker Leonie Oakes, work tirelessly to create empowering and supportive programs for our choir members.

Funds raised are used to support our 3 weekly rehearsal programs (at Redfern, Liverpool and the Dillwynia Women's prison), as well projects such as tours, CDs and theatre shows. We also offer support to those choir members who need assistance with food and other essential items.

Your donations help to keep the choir singing and build a strong, contributing and healthy community. The Sydney Street Choir aims to empower people, enrich their lives and uplift the hearts not only of the Sydney Street Choir but everyone who sees them perform.
