Bring your social welfare skills to a unique role where music builds dignity and connection

Our beloved Leonie Oakes is retiring from her long-held role at the Sydney Street Choir, which leaves an opening on our team.

We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Welfare Manager to support our members and ensure a safe, inclusive, and welcoming community. This role sits at the heart of the Choir, responsible for fostering an environment where members feel valued and respected, while also providing direct welfare support to members and volunteers, and contributing to the overall wellbeing and sustainability of the Choir. The role requires a compassionate and proactive leader who can balance hands-on welfare support with strategic oversight, collaboration, and advocacy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social welfare and a genuine commitment to supporting individuals facing homelessness and social challenges.
